Communication and Change Specialist

Job responsibilities

  • Steer communication and change management in a controlled way to maximize motivation for all people involved to embrace and support the implementation
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
  • As the expert in change implementation, share knowledge with colleagues to support their competence development
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Support Project Implementation Manager to secure the successful implementation of global projects and local initiatives and co-or-ordinate all relevant readiness initiatives in the organization
  • Support Project Implementation to clarify and secure the necessary prerequisites, including correct budget and business plan input on country and store level, in co-operation with the respective functions
  • Support Project Implementation to constantly monitor performance against agreed budget and goals of current projects, inform the correct stakeholders and take action accordingly
  • Live the IKEA values and nurture a living IKEA culture that values the diversity of our customers and co-workers and inspires extraordinary achievements in the defined area of responsibility

Job requirements

  • Excellent ability to lead and implement change in a complex environment
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent skills in presenting, facilitating and influencing others and the ability to provide business relevant information in a transparent way.
  • Good project management skills with a proven record of delivering successful skills
  • Good conflict management skills
  • Good training skills with the ability to plan and execute trainings for different user groups
  • Understand the country’s business plan process
  • Good understanding and actively use all IKEA manuals, particularly In-store Logistics and Retail Supply Integration the IKEA way manuals
  • Excellent understanding of the IKEA Code of Conduct, regulations and legislation relating to health, safety and security
