Manager, Promotion Planning

The Job

  • Implement the new promotion planning process as planned. Build up steps and workflows of the new processes
  • Monitor how the new processes are being executed across teams (Buy, Sell, Move, Marketing)
  • Initiate troubleshooting steps when necessary and plan for contingency
  • Organize key meetings such Quarterly Promotion Planning Meeting and Weekly Advertisement Planning Meeting. Prepare meeting documents and facilitate the meetings
  • Define and create promotion programs that align with Marketing themes and calendars, so as to meet pre-established budgets and forecasts
  • Define and decide promotion focus for advertisements through clear principles and alignment with commercial strategies
  • Define and design and execute loyalty and CRM-based promotions
  • Work with Promotion Analytics Team to make sure post-promotion evaluation is done properly and in time. Make sure the results are being circulated or discussed with stakeholders as planned
  • Maximize the return on investments from supplier’s promotion funding and support
  • Explore, recommend, implement and rollout potential promotion planning software or tools and provide feasibility reports


The People

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in retail or FMCG industry
  • Innovative, detail minded with excellent communication skills and can work independently
  • Passionate about the health and beauty industry
  • Proven leader and problem solver with superior knowledge of retail processes and strong commercial acumen
  • Driver of change, and thrive through bringing others along through teamwork
  • Good sense of urgency, driven to deliver and result-oriented
