We are seeking a Business Process Transformation Specialist – Business Insights to define one consistent way of business Reporting and Analysis across all our business through one operating model known as the “DFI Way.” This is essential for the execution of our digital retail spine and O2O projects based in Hong Kong including Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. We are in the early stages of a 5-year program to deliver new retail technologies in every one of our 10,000+ stores, 42+ distribution centres and 15+ offices across Asia to enable real time O2O e-commerce with our customers. We have multiple countries to be migrated where we need consistent business processes across all the markets, we operate in.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for delivering the “DFI Way” Business Reporting and Insights model. The Business Process Transformation Specialist – Business Insights will work with the Product Owner to build and implement Reports, Dashboard and Analytical tools across functions. This position will have frequent direct exposure to the business teams, business process owners and subject matter experts across buy (commercial), move (supply chain), sell (retail stores), O2O (e-commerce) and finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and System design:

• Work with Product Owner to review and establish DFI way for all Reports, Dashboard and Analytical Tools required across functions.
• Help develop reports that are consensually used across the group and fit for purpose
• Move the group from using country centric individual reports / adhoc reports to standard group reports
• Ensure KPI definitions are group aligned
• Ensure accuracy of data and design or report sand dashboards
• Gather, Analyse and formalize new business reporting requirements
• Provide inputs to develop reports and dashboard system design that is user friendly and help provide the data business needs easily
• Works with Business Process Lead and local process owners to understand local challenges & seeks their input/expertise

Blueprints, Training and SOPs:

• Ensure Blueprints, training material and SOPs are up to date
• Create simple and actionable SOP/ Guides for users to follow and act upon
• Create routines for people to follow and act upon when an undesirable data/outcome is reported

Stakeholder management:

• Liaise with the leadership teams to understand their needs and expectations
• Work with countries to identify issues/concerns and resolve them. Highlight risks and issues and help mitigate/resolve them
• Champion the use of the developed system and processes
• Provide insights that highlight operational inefficiencies and issues which in turn may will result in potential losses or increase operating costs

Squad Structure and meetings:

• Help establish an engaging and active squad structure that is Agile
• Breakdown issues and requirements into actionable and trackable steps
• Drive a result and task-oriented mindset

CR Process:

• Manage the CR process to ensure requirements are clear and essential to the business
• Keep track of delivery of CR
• Help embed the change into the business after the change is delivered

New projects:

• Ensure you actively engage in requirements gathering and in documentation
• Perform the “As-IS” analysis, including fact finding, needs analysis, gap analysis, etc
• Collaborate with internal business, IT, program teams, joint venture partners and third-party vendors to develop a shared understanding of what needs to be delivered and working through challenges
• Review and validate requirements
• Review and validate proposed system deign
• Perform UAT along with business
• Ensure training material is detailed, accurate, clear and simple
• Conduct train the trainer
• Engage, Build and Review Project cutover plans
• Ensure supply chain masterdata accuracy
• Provide pre go live and post go live support

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS

• Creative and willing to drive change including being well-organized and able to work independently.
• Strong experience with reporting, data analysis and data visualisation
• Demonstrates a strong awareness of the uses of reporting and data analysis technologies and models in the market
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in sizable company with a key role in reporting and analysis.
• Strong business and/or systems analysis experience including business process mapping, defining requirements/user stories, solution design and implementation.
• Familiar with managing external vendors and able to communicate with users across all levels.
• Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation.
• Good command of written and spoken and written English. Cantonese and Putonghua/Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
