Job Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets representing the behavior of millions of retail consumers and users of the Yuu online platforms to address strategic and operational needs of the business
• Initiate and design projects: plan a methodology, analyze the data, synthesize research findings into key insights and recommendations, and present to stakeholders at various levels
• Distill and communicate key insights across all levels of the organization
• Coordinate and work with various internal clients including, but not limited to - marketing, category managers, business leads, finance, etc
• Develop frameworks, models, tools, and processes to institutionalize findings
• Work closely with internal teams, using data to drive continuous improvement in their respective business objectives
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities
• Recommend solutions across operation such as identifying bottlenecks, recommending assortments, and how to improve customer experience
• Manage end-to-end data projects; identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyze data, interpret patterns and trends, give recommendations, and create insightful automated reports
• Review day-to-day operation processes, identify areas of improvement and make actionable recommendations based on underlying analysis
• Automate and validate newly created reports and develop corrective actions to improve data integrity and quality
• Be a steward of good data practices - robust documentation, process and knowledge sharing
• Drive transformation within the organization towards data driven decision making
• Design and execute experimentation to use data to help improve strategic projects. You must be able to define hypothesis, setup experiments, track and analyze the results of experiments on all experiments

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics / market research / consulting / e-commerce / FMCG or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in writing complex SQL from scratch and at least one data visualization tools other than Excel (e.g. Google Data Studio / Power BI / Tableau) to present insights from the data
• Excellent analytical skills, intellectually curious, independent thinking and data-oriented
• Business acumen to extract relevant trends and conclusions from large amount of data
• Ability to present complex data in succinct manner and communicate conclusions to less data-savvy business teams
• Bachelor / Master degree in a relevant fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another analytical field
• Experience in tableau, Google Data Studio, Big Query, Python, or R, modeling preferred
